I've just joined the BCHS and saw your post.  I have just discovered an ancestor of mine who was a Rev. War. veteran, his name is Jacob Brinkerhoff.  However, you requested officers - I do not know that much.  I came across his monument at 'findagrave.com' and it is there that I discovered he was a veteran.  His birth date is Jan.29,1753 and died May 24, 1844.
If I can be of further help, or if you know of him, could you tell me what you know!
