We are holding our first-ever shad bake at the Kearney House on the Hudson in Alpine on Sat., April 28, 11 AM - 3 PM.

Stop by! Try some shad (free sampler plates of pickled, smoked & baked will be available at 2 PM)! This is among the most ancient of traditions in this part of the world, going back to Native American times, and a great way to celebrate the start of spring.
