Our next Roundtable at the Hermitage is Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 pm.
Henry Bischoff will present “Victorian Brother and Sister: William
Rosencrantz and Aunt Bess.” He will discuss the two leading Rosencrantz
personages at the Hermitage in the Victorian era: William who sought an
alternative to the family's entrepreneurial legacy, but who was destined
to struggle with it out of economic necessity; and Bess who engaged in new
opportunities for women, but who also was constrained by the mores of her
time.
