Does anyone want an "avatar" (picture to go with your profile)?.  My avatar is the water wheel on the left.  See it?

To get one, hit the "profile" button on top.  Then, click "Forum Profile Information" on the left.  You can upload your own picture or insert the url of where the picture resides on the internet. 

For example, my avatar came from this page: http://www.bergencountyhistory.org/Pages/steubenhsehistory.html and this is the link location: http://www.bergencountyhistory.org/NewFiles/waterwheel.gif. To get the link location, just right click on the image and hit "properties". Copy the address (url).

I just pasted http://www.bergencountyhistory.org/NewFiles/waterwheel.gif into the field that says "I have my own pic".

You can also have a quote (signature line) appear at the bottom of all of your posts.  See mine below from Ben Franklin

Do you know what web code the blue here is? I want my background to match.

The darker blue hexcolor is 6e94b7. The lighter blue hexcolor is afc6db. Nice avatar!

I'm already changing my avatar.
I linked to a web file so if my computer is off -- the image is still viewable.
It seems that the file should be 100 x 100 pixels.
When the image I created was narrower, the program distorted the image to fit the space, 100 x 100 pixels.
